A rare and very collectible mid 20th century miniature laundry set. The die-cast miniature laundry wringer / mangle was produced in the late 1940’s / 1950’s. It has a winding handle which turns the wooden rollers and is marked with ‘Timpo Toys, Made in England’. It measures 8.5cm in length, including handle and 7cm in height. The folding metal ironing board features an x-frame scissor leg mechanism that replicates a full-sized ironing board. It measures 15cm in length and 7cm in height. I would suggest that they are 1:12th scale. Both pieces are in very good condition with a few signs of age related wear.
